Privacy Notice
Version 2026-08-24.1
Who we are
Wondrical is operated by [OPERATING LEGAL ENTITY TO CONFIRM — e.g. Mehrai Design Limited, or a new Wondrical company] ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. Registered address: [REGISTERED/BUSINESS ADDRESS TO CONFIRM — required on legal pages if the operator is a company]. You can contact us about anything here at [PUBLIC CONTACT EMAIL TO CONFIRM — e.g. hello@wondrical.co.uk].
What we collect, and why
When you join Wondrical we collect your first name and email address. We use them to create and manage your account, to sign you in (we email you a one-time link instead of using passwords), and to send essential service messages about your registration and account. The legal basis is performing our agreement with you.
We also record when you accepted our Terms of Use and which version, and — only if you tick the separate box — your marketing consent, including when you gave it and the exact wording you agreed to. Marketing consent is never required to join, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Like almost every website, our hosting providers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run the service securely.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information. We don't show advertising. Your email address is never made public. A new account is private by default: nobody can look you up or see your name unless you later choose, deliberately, to publish a public Wondrologist profile.
Who processes your data for us
Supabase stores our database and handles sign-in; our project is hosted in London. Netlify hosts the website and delivers it through a global network, which means technical request data may be processed outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We don't use third-party analytics or advertising services, and our fonts are served from our own site, not from Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information, keeping only what we're legally required to retain (for example, a record that consent existed).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [PUBLIC CONTACT EMAIL TO CONFIRM — e.g. hello@wondrical.co.uk] and we'll respond. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and similar storage
The public Wondrical website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. When you sign in, your browser stores a small session token locally so you stay signed in — that's it.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site before the change takes effect.
